The Richfield Springs Central School Vocal Performing Arts Boosters and the RSCS Band Boosters are hosting a roast pork dinner, to be held at the Church of Christ Uniting on Church Street, in Richfield Springs. The menu offers a roast pork dinner with all the fixings, including mashed potatoes and gravy, carrots, applesauce, roll and dessert. The cost is $8 for adults and $5 for senior citizens and children under 10.

Assemblyman Bill Magee, chairman of the NYS Assembly Agriculture Committee, will be celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in his annual tradition, at the Rusty Rail Restaurant, in Canastota New York, beginning at 6 p.m.
The public is invited to attend. The menu will include corned beef, steamship round, and other St. Pat’s Day fare. The cost is $50 per person.

Springfield hearing set. A public hearing regarding a draft of Springfield’s Comprehensive Plan is scheduled for Monday, March 16, 7 p.m. at the Springfield Community Center located in Springfield Center.
The purpose of the hearing is to gather public comment on the draft document prior to its submission to the Town Board. The issues, goals, and recommended strategies detailed in this plan are based on information and data gathered about the Town of Springfield, as well as input from the Town residents through the Resident Survey, the Planning and Visioning Workshop, and public attendance at monthly meetings.
Copies of the draft Comprehensive plan are available for review at the Springfield Library and at the Town Clerks office. The plan has also been posted online at the Otsego County Planning Department website at www.otsegocounty.com/depts/pln/documents/SpringfieldDraftCompPlanJan2909.pdf .

A Gathering of Women – On Being Well
A day of retreat for adult women will be held on Saturday, March 21, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The retreat offers time to reflect, relax, recreate, and rejoice in the company of one another, yet with an inward focus allowing participants to simply be.
