To voters in the 20th Congressional District,
I know Jim Tedisco and I would like to give you a little background about what he has done for the voters he represents.
Jim led the opposition to stop Eliot Spitzer’s unlawful plan to give drivers licenses to illegal aliens.
He stood up to Eliot Spitzer when the governor cut funding for the Schenectady Free Health Clinic.
He stood up to the governor’s reckless plan and saved the health clinic.
He worked to create a $330 per-child Empire State Child Tax Credit and expanded the Child Care Tax Credit for working families.
He worked to create the “Power for Jobs” program.
He worked to pass the Women’s Health and Wellness Act.
Not only is Jim a strong leader who stood up to Eliot Spitzer, he has worked hard to reform state government and the budget process.
Jim Tedisco has a proven record, and if elected to Congress, he will continue to work day and night to get our community, state and nation back on the road to economic recovery.
It is very important that you get out and vote on March 31; the polls are open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
