I am running for mayor of the village, along with Frank Russo who is running for village trustee. Frank and I have decided to combine our campaigns because we feel that by working together, in a spirit of cooperation, we can accomplish our goals. We believe that every village resident should have a voice in their government. Frank and I have been out knocking on your doors, talking to our neighbors, and most importantly, we’ve been listening to you. We want you to know that if you elect me as your mayor, and Frank Russo as your village trustee on March 18, we will always take the time to listen. Frank and I believe that one of our greatest resources in the village of Cherry Valley is our residents. Frank and I would like to work closely with the talented people of the village to explore grant opportunities and creative ways to tackle some of the issues facing the village of Cherry Valley today. Whether your concern is the state of our sidewalks, a sewer system, or studying the ‘pros’ and ‘cons’ of a village and town merger, we will be here to listen and respect your point of view. Frank and I know that we all won’t agree on all of the issues all of the time, but we also know that we can agree that we all share the same agenda – making the village of Cherry Valley the best it can be, for everyone. Frank and I ask that you give us a chance. Please vote for Debbie Friedman for mayor, and Frank Russo for trustee of Cherry Valley on March 18. We will do our best for you and for our village. Thank you for your support. Debbie Friedman
