It’s clear sailing for G Tech Marine

In March, 2000, the Gelfuso family decided to go into the marine dealership business. Since then David Gelfuso said the family business has snowballed and built up an enviable reputation for sales and service in this region, which has led to Better Business Bureau accredition. | | For nearly a decade the Gelfuso family has been serving the area’s boating community. Many of their customers live or have summer homes around the local lakes, stretching as far west as Tuscarora Lake, which is located near Cazenovia. When customers walk in they are greeted by three generations of the Gelfuso family, including seven-year-old Victor, who is learning the business from the ground up. Authorized dealers for Hewitt Docks and Lifts, G Tech Marine, Inc., was recently honored by being named to Hewitt’s Diamond Circle of top 20 sales distributors in the nation for docks and lifts. G Tech sells the full line of Tahoe pontoon boats, Grumman Boats, kayaks, pedal boats and PWC remanufactured engines. They also sell name-brand boat trailers built by Hoosier and Yacht Club, as well as specialize in the full line of Mercury Outboard motors. During the off-season, Dave teaches automotive repair at the BOCES center in Milford. Besides his wife, Ann Marie, the staff also includes his father, Gene, and Justin Tyler, a full time employee who is a marine and automotive technician. According to Gelfuso, he is thankful “for all the people who have supported us. We’re looking forward to providing service for years to come.” For more information, contact G Tech at 315-858-0256, or visit their website at www.gtechmarine.com.
