Farmers’ Market celebrates St. Paddy’s Day

The Cooperstown Farmers’ Market will be celebrating St. Paddy’s Day on Saturday, March 14. The first hundred patrons “wearin a bit of the green” will receive a “wee” gift from the market. Ed O’Badgley and George MacEhrmann will be on hand to entertain. Market organizers expect a full house of vendors featuring baked goods, organic meats, 2009 maple syrup, fresh eggs, crafts, apples, jams and jellies, photography and cheeses including goat, Asiago, Jarlsberg and cheddar. Hot soup and fresh coffee will be available. The market, located behind Key Bank, will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is sponsored by Otsego 2000. For further information contact 607-547-6195.
