PTO schedules kid friendly fundraisers

The Richfield Springs Central School PTO would like families to eat at McDonald’s, Thursday, March 29, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. This is the night of the spring concert, and hours have been arranged so families can eat and still get to the concert on time. Twenty percent of the proceeds earned during this time will go directly to the PTO so it can hold future events for the students, such as the upcoming family carnival. The PTO Family Carnival will be held Saturday, March 31, from 9:30-11:30 a.m., in the elementary gymnasium. There will be a bouncy cage, snow cones, a clown, popcorn, music, face painting, community and school-sponsored booths and much more. Tickets for events are 50 cents each or 14 tickets for $5. The featured event is the Noah’s Ark Build-an-Animal Workshop. The idea is similar to the Build-A-Bear stores, however, there are a variety of animals to build and dress, and the prices are substantially cheaper.
