Opinion

Vandalís yellow streak taints red white and blue

Fred Wolter, of Jordanville, had his farm vandalized because he chose to publicly display his opinions against the war.

Vandalism Ė what a cowardly act!

We live in a country that encourages freedom of speech. In fact, itís one of the things that makes this country great.

Whether you agree with Wolterís view on the war in Iraq or not, the man has a right to display his opinions on his own property.

The one in the wrong is the coward vandal, who doesnít even have the guts to talk to Wolter in a civilized conversation.

The coward sent an anonymous letter to Wolter telling him to feel free to leave the country if he doesnít love it.

But, apparently, the coward doesnít love freedom of speech, which is protected by the very first amendment of the Constitution of this great nation.

Maybe it is the coward who should leave the country.
