Community’s generosity overwhelming

This is an open letter to the faculty, staff, students and community members of the Richfield Springs Central School District.

I am overwhelmed by the generosity of time and money given at the recent fundraiser to fight ALS. It reflects what my husband and I already knew about how special Richfield Springs is. It also highlights the community and school spirit.

I have been fighting the disease since December 2005. It is a terrible illness, and anything that can be done to prevent it or cure it will help future generations.

I greatly appreciate your thoughts, prayers, visits and support. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Mary, thank you for getting everything going.
