HARC offers traffic survival workshop

The National Traffic Safety Institute’s six hour Traffic Survival Workshop will be held at the Herkimer Area Resource Center (HARC) on Saturday, May 9, 2009 in the Board/Conference Room at 350 S. Washington St., Herkimer. Access is from the main entrance.

The course will run from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and the fee is $38. Books and materials are provided and the course is open to the public. Payment and registration can be made by calling 315-866-1890.

All who successfully complete this course will receive up to four points reduction from the total on their New York State driving record and a 10% reduction, for three years, in the base rate of the motorist’s current automobile liability, no-fault and collision premiums.

Classes are subject to cancellation due to an insufficient number of registrants. With five or less registrants, this class will be canceled.
