RSCS Reunion - August 20-22 2010
Web sites trying to save HOF game

At least two Web sites have recently been launched to try to save the Baseball Hall of Fame Game in Cooperstown. Major League Baseball (MLB), on Tuesday, Jan. 29, announced that this year’s game will be the last.

The Freeman’s Journal, of Cooperstown, is sponsoring an online petition, www.ipetitions.com/petition/savehofgame.

Another Web site, www.savethefamegame.com, has a link that allows you to automatically email MLB President and COO Bob Dupuy, MLB Players Association head Don Fehr and Hall of Fame President Dale Petroskey asking them to reconsider the decision to end the tradition that started in 1940.
